Learn to Skate (LTS)

Thank you for your interest in the Andover Hockey Association's Learn to Skate (LTS) program, one of the largest and longest running hockey development programs in New England!

Boys and girls ages 3+ are eligible. Children from Andover and all surrounding areas are welcome to join the fun.

Our focus will be on basic skating skills that will form the foundation for a great hockey player in the future. We will not only teach your child how to skate but to also grow other traits such as perseverance and relationship building. Our mission is to ensure all kids have a positive experience on the ice and develop friendships that last a lifetime. But above all, we strive to ensure all kids are having fun while they're on the ice! Once your child's skates hit the ice we believe they will experience a surreal feeling and instantly be hooked on the game of hockey. 

FULL HOCKEY EQUIPMENT IS OPTIONAL FOR AHA'S LTS PROGRAM.

(HELMETS, SKATES, & GLOVES ARE REQUIRED.)

LTS sessions are held on weekend mornings from early October through mid-March. Players have the option to sign up for one or both weekend days, and for one or both sessions. There are no sessions Thanksgiving or Christmas/New Years weekends.

All sessions are held at the world class Phillips Academy Ice Rinks complex on Main Street (Route 28) in Andover, conveniently located minutes from Routes 93 and 495 and steps from plenty of dining and shopping options in downtown Andover.

Due to the popularity of the LTS program, space is limited. If you have a budding hockey player in your family please register today, and please pass along the word to your friends, family, neighbors and classmates who may be interested.
