Join us on Thursday, March 20 at the Philips Academy Ice Rinks for an exciting night on the ice with the Boston Fleet! This free event from 6:20-7:50 PM is designed for players at the 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U age levels and is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, have fun, and be inspired by some of the best in the game.

Event Highlights:

Station-Based Skills Development: Participate in a dynamic, one-hour session focused on improving skating, stick handling, passing, and shooting. Stations will be led by Andover YH coaches with guidance from special guests from the Boston Fleet.

Meet the Pros: Two Boston Fleet players will join the clinic to share their expertise and encourage participants to reach for their goals.

Autographs & Photos: After the on-ice session, the Boston Fleet players will stay to meet participants, sign autographs, and take photos.

Who Can Participate?

The clinic is open to girls from Andover Youth Hockey playing at the 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U levels. All players must pre-register. Space is limited and will filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

This event is completely free and part of our ongoing partnership with Andover Youth Hockey and our commitment to supporting girls’ hockey and youth development.

Andover Girls Program Happenings & Save the Dates!

Tomorrow: Andover Hockey Night at the PWHL Boston Fleet game. There are limited tickets available https://fevo-enterprise.com/event/AYH if you haven't purchased them already.

Thursday February 6th: Sarah Strong Memorial Game at Breakaway 7pm. Come watch Andover high school take on cross town rival HPNA. Please wear your Andover game jerseys and something orange.

Week of March 10: Evaluations for each age level will be scheduled for this week, u8, u10's, U12, and u14. Each age grouping will have a 1 hour on ice evaluation. Registration link and information will be sent out to AHA families over the next few weeks.

Thursday March 20: A few PWHL Boston Fleet players will be hosting a skate with autographs and a meet and greet beginning at 6:20pm. Similar to last season, we'll have an hour of ice time followed by autographs. All AHA families are welcome to attend.

Andover Hockey Night at PWHL Boston Fleet Game...

Friday January 31st at 7pm is Andover Hockey Night at the Boston Fleet game. We have secured 75+ tickets in sections 110 & 111 for the game that evening. Assuming we collectively are able to get 75 people to the game, we will have a meet and greet with a few players following the game as well.

Andover High School Girls Hockey Raffle

Additional u8 Ice Offering...

Mark Sunday's at 10:40am on your calendars. We are moving our girls program open skate to Sundays and inviting the u8 to participate. In addition, we also will be setting up bi-weekly scrimmages for the u8 squad to play against other towns girls teams through season's end.

For December, we will have an Open Skate for our girls u8, u10, u12 & u14 on December 8th & 22nd at 10:40am on the Harrison sheet. This is a fun hour for our girls to play pick up hockey and/or play whatever games they'd like, think pond hockey. The open ice skate is optional but everyone is encouraged to attend.

On December 15th, we have invited Marblehead, Stoneham and North Reading to play half ice scrimmage against the u8. With VHL only offering coed games, we've been working with other towns to get an all girls half ice offering. This will start again on January 5th and continue every other Sunday through mid to late March. There has been a lot of planning with neighboring towns to make this happen so please make an effort to attend the scheduled games. The AHA calendar will update soon as to which Sunday will be a scrimmage vs an open skate.

Andover Santa Parade!!

Good morning u8. Andover Hockey's girls program will be marching in the https://andoversantaparade.com/ on Sunday December 1st at 1pm.

Please arrive at approx 12:30 and meet behind the Andover Senior Center. Please wear your Andover game jersey for the parade.

If we could have a pair of parents / coaches / moms March with the kids in the parade, that would be most helpful. Every hockey playing girl in Andover is invited and encouraged to attend. Thanks and enjoy Thanksgiving.
