
AHA PW1 & PW4 Win VHL Title! *Recap*
The Valley Hockey League Championship weekend was packed with thrilling action. Several teams fought valiantly but fell short of the top prize, while two teams emerged victorious. A huge congratulations to Peewee 1 and Peewee 4 for claiming their championship titles!
Peewee 1 had an outstanding regular season, finishing with a 19-6-0 record and securing the #1 seed heading into the playoffs. This earned them a bye in the early rounds. In the semifinals, they faced a tough challenge from Biddeford but managed a narrow 2-1 victory. The following morning, they hit the ice again for the championship game against the Maine Gladiators, clinching a hard-fought 3-2 win.

Meanwhile, Peewee 4 came together as a tight-knit group early in the season and refused to back down from any challenge. They entered the playoffs with a solid 13-9-3 regular season record, earning the #4 seed and a bye in the preliminary rounds. In the quarterfinals, they crushed the Crusaders 5-1. The semifinals brought a fierce battle against Wilmington, but through a string of incredible events, they secured the win. In the championship game against Billerica, they found themselves trailing by two goals with just seven minutes left. Undeterred, they rallied back and sealed a dramatic 4-3 victory in overtime.
